Good Shepherd Foundation Medical Centre is one of several programs that deliver benefits to needy individuals living in Jamaica. This facility is located on the property of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Construction of this state of the art facility began in 2012. The medical centre houses medical, dental, orthopedic, physical rehabilitation units, and a pharmacy that provides occasional free health services offered by medical, dental, and eye care professionals and volunteers from overseas. The majority of the patients are the working poor and ninety percent are uninsured.
Hope Hospice is located in Montego Bay and provides care and shelter for persons who are ill, HIV/AIDS infected and have no lodging and in desperate need of medical care. Since its inception, patients with the stigma of HIV/AIDS have had their dignity restored before making the transition to the glory of God.
